Military Adaptive Court Sports (MACS) uses a clinical approach to measure its success, assessing participants improvements to their physical status as well as the overall well-being of our veterans. MACS personnel and the Recreational / Occupation therapists direct evaluations several times during the clinics. A Pre-test is administered prior to a veteran or service member beginning a clinic, which evaluates physical capabilities such as strength, stamina, agility and motor skills as well as mental capabilities for indicators of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). These metrics are reviewed and recorded by MACS instructors and their respective therapists to determine the level of intensity for each participant.
