Rick Witsken

Rick Witsken wears a lot of hats, but some of his main titles are pro pickleball player, pickleball coach, tennis coach, and former pro tennis player. Rick started out in tennis before he had ever even heard of pickleball. He got a full-ride scholarship to play Division 1 tennis at the University of Alabama where he was a two-time All-American and ranked as the #1 doubles player in the country. After he graduated from Alabama, Rick played tennis professionally for a while before he decided to become a coach. That's when he created his tennis academy, Team Witsken, and a friend introduced him to pickleball. As they say, the rest was history, and Rick has been competing with the top players in Pickleball since 2014.
