Joey Farias

Joey Farias was one of the top tennis players in the world, consistently ranked among the top 10 players in the world from ages 13-18 years old, before major back injuries ended his career. He even played against Novak Djokovic! Even though his injury was a tragedy, he says some good did come from it, he was introduced to pickleball. Joey discovered pickleball when a friend introduced him to pickleball in 2015 because it's easier on the back and joints than tennis. Soon after he was introduced, he started playing in tournaments and became one of the top 15 players in the world.
