Andrea Koop is a top pickleball pro, a lawyer, and the tournament director of the Beer City Open in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Before Andrea found pickleball, she was a competitive tennis player and even won an NCAA Team Championship Title as a UCLA Bruin in 2008. Then, Andrea got introduced to pickleball, but she wasn't completely sold and admittedly said it looked “dumb”. Wow, how things have changed! Andrea eventually warmed up to it and fell in love with the pickleball community.
